Women’s Rights

Young love is an inevitable thing, Children are experimenting with themselves and each other at a faster paced than adults can keep up with. There are many different opinions throughout North America, but the choice is now in the hands of the people and not the Government. The personal opinion of myself is that the choice remains in the public’s hands and not the government. I believe that the government has enough on its plate and should be undisturbed by the confrontation of human rights. I always encourage safe sex and protection. I encouraged committed relationships and marriage even.

Responsibility has always been embraced in my day and the government has always provided a safe haven and government assistance programs for young and single mothers. Not to mention that the income taxes always provided a significant amount to assist families with children.  But in being an understanding man I understand that young love is inevitable, and mistakes happen. Therefore, the choice should be in the hands of the people and not in the hands of law or law enforcement. Abortion clinics should always remain available, and the choice of life should always be taken seriously.

I am not the one to mock the reproductive process, the creators or the creation. I encourage love and mating and I hope it continues and is taken seriously. The choice should be taken seriously, and a sex partner, trust and bonding should be taken seriously. Men and Women should definitely be responsible on the partner they choose to engage in sexual activity and try build families.

  • Floridians Protecting Freedom said, “The overwhelming majority of Floridians think we should all have the freedom to make our own personal health care decisions without interference from politicians. Despite that, politicians in Florida just signed the most extreme abortion ban in the nation. It bans abortion before most people even realize they are pregnant. Help put these decisions back in the hands of Florida families and their doctors, not extreme politicians. There are so many reasons why someone may make the deeply personal decision to have an abortion – maybe their birth control failed, or they were a victim of rape or incest, or carrying a pregnancy would endanger their lives. Politicians shouldn’t be allowed to interfere in this personal decision or to prevent nurses and doctors from treating their patients.”[3]
  • Senate Minority Leader Lauren Book (D) said, “The fight for freedom has never been more critical. Despite the fact that abortion is no longer a partisan issue for Americans, elected Republicans across the US are working to take away access to women’s healthcare. We must not back down!”[4]

“No law shall prohibit, penalize, delay, or restrict abortion before viability or when necessary to protect the patient’s health, as determined by the patient’s healthcare provider,” the ballot summary will say. “This amendment does not change the Legislature’s constitutional authority to require notification to a parent or guardian before a minor has an abortion.”

The ballot campaign was first reported by Politico. The groups behind the effort include Planned Parenthood affiliates, the ACLU of Florida, Florida Rising and Women’s Voices of Southwest Florida. Representatives from the various organizations will unveil their effort Monday morning in Tallahassee.

“Floridians want the freedom to make their own personal health care decisions without interference from politicians, but the Legislature recently passed, and Gov. Ron DeSantis signed, a six-week abortion ban. That’s before many people even know they’re pregnant,” said a media advisory for the event.

“The decision to have an abortion belongs to Floridians, their families, and those they trust — this campaign is an opportunity to ensure those protections remain in our state constitution,” it added.

The coalition is turning to Florida voters to try to overturn recent legislation signed by DeSantis, a Republican, that would ban most abortions after six weeks, with exemptions for rape and incest at up to 15 weeks of pregnancy. It does not change existing exceptions that aim to protect the life and the health of the mother at up to 15 weeks of pregnancy.
